Cookie and Local Storage Policy

Effective: 20 August 2026 Version: 1.0

1. The website (gainzor.com)

gainzor.com sets no cookies. There is no analytics tool, advertising tag, social pixel, heatmap or session recorder on the site. That is why you won't see a cookie banner here.

The site is entirely static and built on these principles:

  • No third-party requests. Fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are all served from gainzor.com. Opening a page sends no request to any third party, so your IP address is not disclosed to anyone else.
  • No tracking. We build no visitor profiles and do no page-to-page or cross-site tracking.
  • No local storage. The site writes nothing to your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage.

The sample workout logger on the home page runs entirely inside your browser. The sets you tick are never sent anywhere and disappear when you reload the page.

Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider to serve the site (IP address, request time, browser string) are outside the scope of this policy. They are not cookies and are described as technical data in the Privacy Policy.

2. The mobile app

The app is not a web browser, so it uses no cookies. It uses your device's own storage instead:

What's storedWhyHow long
Local database (plans, routines, workouts, sets, measurements, records, achievements, AI Coach chats) So the app works offline. This is how the app fundamentally operates. Until you sign out or uninstall
Session tokensSo you don't have to sign in every time you open the appUntil you sign out or the session expires
App preferences (language, theme, weight unit, account privacy)To remember your choicesUntil you sign out or uninstall
Sync markers and pending operation queueSo offline changes reach the cloud once you're back onlineUntil the operation completes
Image cache (exercise thumbnails)Faster lists and less data usageUntil the cache is cleared
Push notification tokenSo notifications reach the right deviceUntil notification permission is withdrawn or the app is uninstalled

The app contains no advertising SDK, no use of advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking. We do not read the Android Advertising ID or the iOS IDFA, and the app does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

3. Why there's no consent banner

Consent is required for non-essential technologies that access a user's terminal equipment. gainzor.com uses none, so there is nothing to ask about.

What the mobile app stores on your device is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for: without it the app could not work offline and you would have to sign in on every launch. That storage therefore relies on the performance of our contract with you rather than on separate consent.

If we ever add analytics or a similar tool, we will announce it in this policy and put a proper consent mechanism in place before it goes live.

4. How to clear it

  • Sign out of the app: the local database and session data are cleared from your device. Your cloud copy is kept and comes back when you sign in again.
  • Uninstall the app: everything the app stored on your device is removed.
  • Device settings: clear the cache or app data from your operating system's app settings screen.
  • Turn off notifications: withdrawing notification permission in device settings invalidates the push token.

To delete the cloud copy as well, use the account deletion feature inside the app — uninstalling does not delete cloud data. See Privacy Policy — Deleting your account.

5. Changes

If we update this policy, the current version is published at this address. Should we add cookies or any tracking technology to the site or the app, we will announce it before it takes effect.
